A member of the Wasco tribe, Pat Courtney Gold is an accomplished fiber artist and basket weaver. She teaches, consults, and has pieces of her work showin in museums and collections around the world.

Pat has been honored with the a National Endowments of the Arts Heritage and Fellowship in 2007 and received the Oregon Governor's Art Award in 2001
